Simple, blissful Xmas.

Christmas this year seemed much more meaningful than previous years.

Perhaps as we leave school and enter the working world, we understand a different part of the wider world.

Besides the Xmas party with my poly classmates, I've also attended another xmas party where I met my darling's close buddies.
I must admit it's really awkward cos his bros and their girlfriends/fiancees are all in their mid-20s, and I'm the youngest. They treat me as though I'm a small girl, & not to mention, the stress when I know they are all getting engaged one-by-one, and they ask darling when's our turn. :/

We had work on xmas eve and ended around 7.30pm.
The party was held in a service apartment just behind Goodwood Park Hotel.
Theme for the night was 'Opiang'. (;

Darling also passed me my christmas present: A Dolce & Gabbana watch.

It's really simple, nothing fanciful. But that's also why it suits me to a tee. (:

But I felt guilty cos I didn't get anything for him yet due to my busy work schedule, but I'll get smth for him soon & maybe a home-cooked meal! (:
I've not cooked for quite a while already.. Hope I still have what it takes!

Until it sinks in, Mommy.

I guess it hasn't really sunk in yet.

Sighs. It's kinda hard to accept, isn't it? It has all along been what I've known & wanted since i entered poly & known yx.
& now after going one round and wasting 8 months of my life, I'm clueless.

I hope God sends a signal soon.
Being clueless about what I want, is SO NOT ME.

My mom told me it's their loss, but I know she's just trying to console me.

& me, BEING the strong-headed me, laughed it off.

Until it sinks in, that is.

Our Christmas Gathering!

It has been more than half a year since such a big group of us gathered to celebrate good times! In May, we all got together for our poly graduation ceremony and took plenty of group photos. (: & of course not forgetting our 'themed' after-party! "Wear something we will not expect to see you in"!
Super fun class I have been blessed with!

& it also makes us realize how fast 2010 is zooming by. We're 11 days away from 2011, & our class boys are all botak! Heh.

Instead of meeting the whole bunch at Liang Court's Saizeriya restaurant, I met up with Pooms and Bao at Takashimaya first to get our gifts for the xmas exchange! We ARE truly the queens of lateness. From 3.30pm, to 4pm, and I only reached at 5.15pm. :x Okay, have to admit this is seriously a very bad habit of mine.

I got a really nice organizer, and luckily they had gift wrapper+ scissors+ scotch tape! The queue at the departmental store was mortifying! Lots of people doing shopping for Christmas but yet the atmosphere was so tense. Tsktsk.

After we all got our gifts wrapped, we headed down to Clarke Quay for dinner with the rest! Saizeriya's an Italian restaurant that serves really affordable food and the standard isn't bad too!

We shared spinach creme (which was nastyyyy. So different from what I tasted from our France's school's canteen.), escargots, salads, soup and I had mixed seafood risotto! Yumms.

After we had our fill, we had our gift exchange near the fountain.
We were all to get a gift of at least $10 that is unisex.

I guess it's such an unbelievable coincidence that my gift was given to me by Yaowei, and I gave my gift to Eugene (I got it from a guy and gave it to a guy, what are the chances?). It's prolly karma, hopefully working in a good way now. (:

Clique shots are a definite YES! But we're missing beloved Nrl, who's away in Kuching for quite long (??!). P.S: Come back naoooo. There's a case of a man eaten alive by a freakin' 20m-long crocodile there in kuching!!

'Words can't be formed just to express how blessed I feel having you guys in my life.'

Xoxo.

People going C-R-A-Z-YYYYY.

Gosh!! I'm so mad from work today!!
Had a few incidents whereby I have to serve rude customers, of which I almost told off.

Incident 1:
I was busy serving a customer, when I heard someone do the 'tsk / tsok' thingy LOUDLY, commanding for attention. I turned, and he was like 'COME HERE!'. Cb, I'm not your dog okay! Everything he says is just so rude, just a typical old pervertic uncle!

My job as a retail assistant, I will and I HAVE displayed professionalism in what I do. Otherwise, this guy would have gotten it from me.
HAHAHAH! The good thing is, he 'HELLO!' to Danny so loudly, Danny was so pissed and went to him asking "yes sir? Do you have any problem?" :DDDD

Incident 2:
A lady wanted to look at cufflinks, so I borrowed a glove to show it to her. When she decided and said okay can, I brought up the fact that for accessories like cufflinks, there will not be any discount of 40% off.
Her reply?
"SO?"

I couldn't believe my ears, and I said 'excuse me?'. She repeated, "SO?"
WAAHHHHH! Blood boil.
Then when I showed her a new piece for her to check for scratches, she said 'don't need to check'. After I brought it to the counter, turns out she left the store. C
I think she's crazy. -_-

Lots more smaller incidences with rude people, but when all of them add up, it really makes a person mad.

& frankly, don't you find that the world is going crazy?
Slashings, suicide bombers, sicko pouring acid on pedestrians.

Not to mention, the rising cases of molestation, EVEN IN SCHOOLS.

What's the world coming to?

.

Ridiculous.

'Dead man in mortuary impregnates woman'

The Rolling Stones said it best, “You, you make a dead man cum.” A 38 year old female mortuary worker is being held on $250,000 bond after becoming pregnant by one of her clients-a dead man. The alleged crime took place at the Mourning Glory Mortuary just outside of Lexington, Missouri. Police have charged Felicity Marmaduke with desecration of the dead and necrophilia.

According to a statement made to police by Marmaduke, the alleged victim experienced a post mortem erection while being bathed. Being alone, Marmaduke straddled the dead man and proceeded have sex with him. Much to her surprise, the alleged victim came to orgasm after several minutes. A few weeks later, Marmaduke had a positive pregnancy test while receiving a routine medical exam. Upon telling her doctor the circumstances leading to the conception, the police were notified. Marmaduke was arrested without incident at her dilapidated trailer home a few blocks from the mortuary.

In a bizarre twist, Marmaduke plans to sue the dead man’s estate for child support.

Ew.

Super LOL!

I had the weirdest dream last night. Or rather this morning.

Didn't manage to go work today as I totally lost my voice, so I took some cough relief meds and went back to bed.

In the dream, we were having an expedition and were raiding an old egyptian pyramid-like structure, but instead of huge stones and boulders, it was held together by ropes. Strong ropes like those used in mountain-climbing.

I was one of the leaders.
We were only scaling the surface and slowly making our way to the top, when I decided to cut the last remaining 2 ropes and the entire structure fell apart.

But weirdly, I KNEW it would fall, and immediately jumped and went to steal the gold-bars, gold cards and what have you. All this while the others fell to their deaths or got injured.

I had 2 other partners and we agreed to split the loot. We were running and running and suddenly we reached Kovan, near the McDonalds. We had trouble getting a cab, and then a weird cab driver (who already had 2 other passengers in his car) asked the 3 of us to join. He told the old couple to squeeze so we could fit.

I barely got in, AND HE DROVE AWAY! That sucker!
My 2 partners haven't even gotten into the cab! I was like, waitwait!! That bloody noob didn't stop and all along my partners were running behind us.
We reached a junction and I pulled his handbrake. Then I could see a lady dressed in black running towards our cab (my partner was wearing black) so I thought *phew* she made it! Just nice when the lady in black reached my door, turns out it was SHU (who works at Boss) and the cab drove away again!
But SHU said to me: "Don't need to wait for them. They already got caught."

While the cab drove away, I looked back at Shu who was panting and I suddenly felt so lonely. My partners got caught, I had millions (or billions) with me but I felt so abandoned.
I was thinking where should I hide. Barcelona, Spain? Because they would expect me to go London, somewhere I loved. But I also considered surrendering because I didn't want to be alone.

Then a phone call came. From Yonghwa of CNBlue (wtf right?! I know!)
In the dream he seems to be my old flame. And he was telling me something like please take care. Then I asked him how he knew where I was (in Kovan).

He said: "Cos I'm a football player" (apparently they know alot of strategies).

SMLJ?!?

December 14, 2010

Whuttttt.

Oh dear. This blogging hiatus has me on edge.

At times i don't feel like blogging, but yet each blog has too much sentimental value for me to close it down.

Anyway, I was just researching for the Bangkok air tickets and boy, have they increased! If I were to buy it now, i have to pay almost twice of what Erina and Keefe paid! Definitely not in my cards. :x
As much as I would LOVE to go bangkok for a shopping-relaxing trip with those besties, but a greater part of me would want to start work on Jan 3rd.

They proposed a 6-month certification of being fit to fly, then head for a medical review. Well, I guess at that point, I just agreed. So now I'm just waiting to see if their side agrees. If no, fine by me.
If yes, i have to get ready an amount to pay for the medical jabs. :( nastyyy.

I don't think I will fly beyond 6-months for that airline anyway.

Most likely I will study SIM-RMIT next Aug.

Our 'FRANsters'.

My mind has been wandering to our days in France, those little details.
Stopping at Eze village and having ice-cream in freezing weather before heading to Monaco.

Mad, mad

Everybody's heading overseas for holidays!

I WANT TOO!

Unfortunately I have commitments to BOSS for the month of December for their store sales! But when Jan comes.....hehe. I hope my darling's able to apply for leave so we can join Keefeeee, Erina, Joanne and her boyf + family to Bangkok!

Shopping isn't much on my priority list, but more of relaxation like spas and massages. Legal ones, of course. (: Mad cheap = love.

That aside, been cooped up at the food fair for 3 days now!
Puma's been working with me and I guess my dad's getting on her nerves! HEHE! What's new? My dad gets on everybody's nerves at work. :x

Many people are curious about the airline thingy that I've been through. Received more than a couple of private messages and DMs asking me. Well, I'll try sharing on my blog soon, perhaps after Tues.
The last SIA interview I went on 6 nov, I made it all but the last round of kebaya cos I had rashes a couple days before. SUPERRRR SIAN pls.
But at least now I know I have what it takes to pass the management round, and I could tell they wanted to pass me for the kebaya cos they really deliberated for a long time, even asking me to go for lunch before coming back.
So I'm sure the next time will be better! (:

Doctor's side, I'm fine! My specialist gave the approval to fly as a career! I was mad, mad happy that day! :D

Alright! Gotta go rest to prep for tomorrow! <3

Mom sold baby to buy car

Reuters - Thursday, November 11SendIM StoryPrint.MIAMI - A Florida woman was charged with trying to sell her infant son in order to pay for a new car, police said Tuesday.

The baby's grandmother brokered the deal and initially demanded $75,000 but agreed to cut the price to $30,000 when told the prospective buyer could not get a bank loan, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said.

The mother of the eight-week-old boy, Stephanie Bigbee Fleming, 22, of Bradenton, Florida, was to receive $9,000 of the proceeds, the FDLE said.

"Fleming planned to purchase a new vehicle from the money received," an FDLE spokeswoman said.

Fleming also needed money to pay court costs for an unrelated probation violation, the arrest documents said.

Fleming was arrested Tuesday. The grandmother, Patty Bigbee, 45, was arrested last week with her boyfriend Lawrence Works, 42, both of Holly Hill, Florida. All three were charged with the illegal sale of a child, and Bigbee was also charged with communications fraud, the department said.

The arrest report said Bigbee offered to sell the baby to a female relative in October, explaining she had been caring for her grandchild but "was not mother material."

The relative alerted police and worked with them during the negotiations. Bigbee and Works were arrested when they collected a $30,000 cashier's check and handed over the baby to an undercover agent in a Daytona Beach parking lot, police said.

The baby remains in state custody.

I'm flabbergasted.

I wanted to blog tonight after coming back from Dim sum supper, but in the end the day went wrong and I'm too pissed.

Shall update tmrw instead.

Sleep tight peeps!

November 3, 2010

Boring!

Some updates!

Today's my second off-day, and I'm so glad I could finally take a break and sleep all I want!

From last month's 21st till monday, I've been working at the Isetan Men's Bazaar, full shift everyday! It's great for the moolah, but bad for your hips and legs. :/
In that 11 out of 12 days I've worked, I think I earned an easy 1k?

It helps that I had authority to supervise one department, so I mostly delegate instead of doing it myself. (:

As for my boyf, our 1st monthsary was on the 1 Nov. Things are good, I mean he dotes on me and places me as one of the top priorities. Currently he's in BKK enjoying his holiday with his pals, and I'm thinking if I should pick him up at the airport tmrw night! Hmmmm.

Most people would be asking 'how's your stewardess thing coming along?'
Well, sad to say I might be taken out from JQ's batch as I couldn't get my medical done in time. Yesterday's calls was that if I can't have my medical done by 9 Nov, I will be taken out and have to rejoin the interviews all over again.

Oh wells, shall see how things go.
No big loss.

October 24, 2010

I might be able to fly afterall.

Comment J'espère que Dieu est juste.

October 14, 2010

Give me your blessing.

Today was amazing.

As arranged, I headed to the airport to sign the contract as well as to attend the job briefing. Then we applied for US visa, and had a uniform fitting.

I was super high whilst trying the uniforms cos there are just so many to choose from! In the end, I chose 2 dresses, 1 skirt, 1 short-sleeved top and 1 three-quarter top. The orange jacket, coat, belt and trolley are provided.

Then tomorrow I'll need to head down to Police Cantonment to collect my CNCC, and medical on Sat.

*Fingers crossed*

October 6, 2010

If we could choose a way to leave.

I don't know. I guess I'm just feeling kind of down now.

I feel surrounded by death.

One of my bestie's good friend passed away. Suicide. Jumped down a building.
And I saw Eslin's youtube video about how a dog was knocked down on the highway, but the other was protecting and shielding his loved.

Personally, I myself was on the brink of depression this April. It's no joke.
On that particular day, I would have done something illogical like perhaps pills, slits or 'accidents'. But thank goodness for my family, G, and my close besties who were with me 24/7. Without them, I will definitely not be around now.
I guess sometimes life and fate just had to give you a hard blow just for you to know what you should start treasuring.

Stalker

I just had supper with B, and guess what?!

My parents and elder sis decided to drive out for supper too, and they went to Chompchomp, WHERE I'M SUPPOSED TO MEET HIM.

I don't know if its a ruse so they can screen my boyf, but boy, the both of us were stressed out. HAHAHA! & they chose a outdoor seat just behind us!

It's still too early for Meet-the-Parents session, that's why we were all panicking.

Luckily they did not follow us to IceCube. :/

Imissyou.

[WARNING: EMOTIONAL ENTRY AHEAD]

I couldn't sleep as my body clock has gone haywire.
Then by some chance, I decided to view Nurul's photos on her FB, mostly because I want to reminisce our times spent during the exchange.

Then whilst viewing her photo albums, I came across one that was oddly-named, yet familiar: Saint Happy.

Our Yuanxiang. My poly year 1 buddy.

There was a dedication to her, to the angel that has been with us for such a short period of time but yet left such a genuine impression.

"You may not be flying as a Singapore Girl, but baby you are flying higher & way beyond anyone of us can ever fly right now."

After a series of ups and downs within a short period this year, I've contemplated giving up.
BUT NO. I'm gonna pick myself up and do it!

Please give me strength, yx.

I love you just the way you are.

Just the way you are - Bruno Mars

Oh her eyes, her eyes
Make the stars look like they're not shining
Her hair, her hair
Falls perfectly without her trying

She's so beautiful
And I tell her every day

Yeah I know, I know
When I compliment her
She wont believe me
And its so, its so
Sad to think she don't see what I see

But every time she asks me do I look okay
I say

When I see your face
There's not a thing that I would change
Cause you're amazing
Just the way you are
And when you smile,
The whole world stops and stares for awhile
Cause girl you're amazing
Just the way you are

Gosh, I love this song!

Great buddies, Good times!

I'm alone at home, as my parents just flew off to Beijing this morning & my sisters aren't home. NO government! HAHHA!

& I chanced upon my old thumbdrive. & there they were: old photos of us in Nice.

Since I'm so free, let's take a walk down memory lane.

Eze village, Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Grasse, Antibes, Juan Les Pins... Been there, loved every bit of it. Southern france to me, is much better than Paris, simply because of the pace. The latter is way too hectic and stressful for me, whereas Nice on the other hand, is so peaceful and tranquil.

So there we were, studying in CERAM University. Reputably one of the best Business schools in France.

We also had the experience of skiing for the first time! For me, I had totally no talent in it, & even had difficulty putting on the shoes!

The night view of Nice is mind-blowing. & damn cold when we were there. HAHA! I think it was around 5degrees? :X

Shiya & Sweeting came to visit us all the way from Finland!

Arguably one of my favourite photos! An old couple sitting and enjoying the sea view & the breeze.

Samuel & I were the main chefs amongst us 7!

Freezing water by the Riviera!

Enjoying each and everyday God gave us. & the sisterhood we got from random people which we would have otherwise not met if it wasn't for the exchange. (:

These makes me miss school life, but yet I'm not sure if I'm ready for University. FRANKLY.

.

Safe & Sound.

(Adapted from Erina's blog).
Her blog has the most heartfelt & yet true confessions about love & realisations.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today passed in the blink of an eye. Especially when you meet people you miss & love, time just seems to fly by. But then, when you feel your heart slowly being ripped, time seems to drag on and on.

Such an oxymoron, isn't it?

I'm so afraid of making the same mistake of falling for someone, only to find that they can't handle a woman like me and then they turn and walk off.
Once is enough. I admit defeat that: I should have known better then.

Therefore now, I really want to be sure, to know that I'm the only one in your heart and mind, which then I'll safely pass my heart to you, where it'll remain safe & sound.

I know I'm not an easy woman to love. I'm very stubborn, I'm very strong-minded and independent and I'm spoilt at times.
But that doesn't mean i wouldn't want to be a small woman behind my man.

I'm really troubled recently, be it about love, whether to study or continue trying for what I want.
These just tires me a whole lot & inevitably, the strongest person will still fall.

I'm now just wishing I have a ticket to time travel, & travel back to the period in Southern France where I didn't have to give two hoots about who I have to commit to, what I must do as my next step or how my survival instincts should kick in.

In those times, we probably were only worrying about whether our French can be understood.

Back in the Sunny Singapore!

I'm back from Taiwan, but I'm super busy!! :(

August 29, 2010

Off to Taiwan in a bit!

Okay! So it's past my self-declared bedtime of 9pm (fyi, as I'm typing this it's already 10.30), but i just thought I should perhaps do a short update.

I'M FINALLY FLYING OFF TOMORROW MORNING TO TAIPEI!
Super excited to be travelling after a short hiatus (Msia roadtrips & ferries don't really count unless it's by plane). The last time I was on the plane was more than a year ago, coming back from London!
If I remember correctly, my ears were kind of sensitive & became blocked as we were about to land. Scared the hell out of me, as I thought I was going deaf.

But anyway, so I'm leaving the morning flight from Terminal 1, & I'd be back on Friday midnight! (:

I also have 'Pay-as-you-roam', so you can text me if it's urgent. (:

Goodnight peeps! & tmrw, it's gonna be Bonjour Taipei, Au revoir Singapore!

Annoying Orange!

Our beloved Keefeeeee enlisted into Tekong today!

All thanks to him, I was introduced to work at HUGO. That, began my happy days & also the invaluable friendships that was made within such a short span.

I must admit to being depressed ever since the fiasco about my dream, the hospital visits etc. Being in HUGO, though I still got questioned then, but at least Keefee was there to share the brunt with me & to make me laugh whenever I'm down.

He takes good care of us all when we go drinking.
Sends us home when we're drunk.
Initiates lots of outings & roadtrips.

He's really the best Annoying Orange around! <3

Underappreciated

Today was a bad day.

When I woke up, I was still smiling about what a good dream I had. Apparently, I (or someone) got married & we were invited to this themepark/hotel and were treated as VVIPs.

I woke up, fumbled for my phone & wanted to tweet about the nice dream. THEN MY DAD KNOCKED MY DOOR. He kind of scolded & nagged at me for returning home late (which I can understand), but one thing I can't stand is being underappreciated.
I've always been the one amongst my siblings to support my dad, because I believe its only fair that the 3 of us support evenly. So while my 2 sisters always side my mom, I tend to side my dad. This is perhaps strengthened when he agreed & funded my exchange trip to beautiful France.
But at the end of the day, after doing all you can for a person, if he doesn't appreciate & instead step all over you, I think it's time to put a stop to that nonsense.

.
Oh, & I'm gonna miss Keefeeee, who's enlisting on Thursday! :(

My Past Week & more!

*I'll upload photos at a later time because it takes a longlonglong time!*

11 Aug Wed: Daddy's birthday dinner at Din Tai Fung & roadtrip into Msia with Keefe & Erina! Baskin robbins, durian, car wash, kenny rogers= been there, done that!

(I give up. Please view my facebook once I've uploaded the photos. Blogger's being a bitch.)

12 Aug Thurs: Chillax at home.

13 Aug Fri: Collect car & went to secondary school 4C's BBQ at Ivy's place! Went home to shower after sending John & Darren, & went to pick up the gang at Plaza Sing! Made our way to Kallang Leisure Park for bowling! (girl power applies in basketball, singing, but *ahem* bowling isn't her forte.) Still mine, though! (:

14 Aug Sat: Drove into Msia for the first time (for me) & went to CARREFOUR (which resembles Singapore's Giant & can never hold a candle to France's), JUSCO & car wash. After arriving back in Singapore, we drove to Henderson Wave for some chillax till 3am before having oyster omelette for supper!

15 Aug Sun: Picked up Nrl & met the rest of the clique at Cinneleisure! Had some coffee whilst chilling before making a random decision to go ECP for a picnic! :D I love how spontaneous we can be when we're together. Bought Macs & snacks, & chilled till 9 plus before driving to the airport. SADLY, alot of photos just suddenly disappeared from my camera! ARGHHHHH.

16 Aug Mon: Supposed to return the car, but I lost my way.....*snorts*. TOTALLY NO SENSE OF DIRECTION TO SAVE MY LIFE. Anyw, they found some scratches on the tyre rims, so I had to do something about it. Called Gilbert & he accompanied me to his mechanic. I had the car for one more day, so drove to pick the gang & we went to ECP AGAIN. Chillax & sent everyone home. (:

17 Aug Tue: Brought the car to the mechanic & it was fixed in a jiffy! They didn't even charged me, how nice! (: Returned the car & G drove us to get black carrot cake, which is unbelievably difficult at that point of time.

18 Aug Wed: Can't remember what I did.

19 Aug Thurs: Went to town to find Erina at Orange for dinner! We wanted to have TCC scones, but it wasn't available! :( had tirumisu & she had cheesecake.

20 Aug Fri: Keefe came to pick me before meeting the rest at Crystabelle for our Karaoke session. (: my singing wasn't up to par. *sighs* Felt unwell the whole day.

21 Aug Sat (today!): Chillax at home but went out to buy lunch & order Macs for dinner! Did some menial chores too, which went unappreciated & I'm really kinda pissed by it. -.-*

& guess what?!
I DOWNLOADED THE FULL VERSION OF 'ANGRY BIRDS'!
Super excited to play them all! HAHAHAH!

Brutal killing

A dead body of a dog, with its face drenched in blood, was found in the void deck of Blk 267B Compassvale Link in Sengkang on Wednesday evening.

The Straits Times reports that the dog, a Pomeranian, died after being beaten and repeatedly flung against the floor.

A police spokesman confirmed the incident, saying that the police received a call around 7.40pm. About six policemen arrived soon after.

Mr Toh, a 50-year-old hawker who works at a coffeeshop next to the void deck, said he witnessed the brutal beating and called the police.

He told The New Paper in Mandarin, “The man was picking up the dog and throwing him onto the floor over and over again – for at least 10 times. It happened over 10 minutes.”

“At first the dog cried out in pain. It was a pitiful sound, then after a while there was silence,” he added.

Mr Toh said he was afraid to step in after the man “looked crazy”.

“I wanted to stop the man, but he really seemed like he was crazy. So I rang the police instead because I hoped they would arrive in time to stop him – and save the dog,” he said.

But it was too little too late as the dog died. The Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) picked up the dead dog after being notified by the police. Initial examinations revealed the dog died from intensive head injuries consistent with trauma.

Another witness, Mr Leow, 34, a hawker who worked in the same coffeeshop as Mr Toh, told the same paper that the dog abuser acted strangely prior to the tragedy.

He claimed that the man who appeared to be in his 30s or 40s, requested for a knife to which Mr Leow said “no”.

The case has been referred to the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) and investigations into the identity of the owner are ongoing.

SPCA executive officer, Ms Deidre Moss said, “It is a tragedy of the highest order, it was a brutal end to a lovely dog.”

Seriously, i feel like saying every bad word in the Hokkien dialect & scream my head off at the bloody son of a bi*** that did this!!
But whats the point? The poor dog is gone.:'(

This is where i really pray for karma to bite him hard in the ass.

A short one!

A mad, mad busy past week, & its gonna be a mad, mad week when I'm starting to travel.

Sponsored Batam trip this weekend (super random & spontaneous) and Taiwan in less than 2 weeks!

Not to mention, affairs of the heart always keeps someone busy.

I guess I'll blog tmrw to update on my short-trips driving into Malaysia, chalet & Universal Studios, bbq, bimbo roadtrips etc. (:

Je ne sais pas comment procéder avec vous.

13th

I'll be using the car in approx 13hours' time.

On Friday the 13th.

HOLY SHIT & FML.

From what I know, I'll be picking Buddy, lunch, followed by perhaps Nicholas (Kovan), then to pick Keagan (Pasir Ris) and to the BBQ.
Leaving by 9, & I think heading to Orchard to pick up Keefe & gang before MAYBE another road trip to Msia to pump petrol.

Then Saturday I have no idea where we're going.

Sunday with poly darlings Bao, Lulu, Pooms, Lala & maybe Nette to perhaps Asian Civilisation Museum and a late picnic.

Monday I'll be sending my younger sis to school before getting breakfast for the family.

The best thing is: I'm a road-idiot.

Off to Uni!

I'm heading out of the house in a bit!
Meeting Erina @ Boss Orange then we're going for Ichiban boshi at Plaza Sing!

I drank quite a bit last night, & was on the verge of puking my guts out. Fortunately, I think a cup of iced water saved my tummy.
If you must know, I disappeared from the world yesterday. I turned off my phone, & I was aware that some people were worried about my whereabouts.

I'm so sorry for making you guys worry.

I'll be fine. I've thought things out.
If it's meant to be, it'll be.

I shouldnt waste my youth wallowing deep in self-pity or near-depression.

Therefore, I'm going to University.

10 Places To Go In Taipei (based on me)

In no order of preference (because I intend to chiong all!), here are my researched top 10 selections:

#1: 五分埔, Wu Fen Pu

Need I say more?! Shopping haven, please!
I'm controlling my purse strings now (online blogshops tempts me much *sighs*) just for wufenpu! I'm also intending to pack a smaller luggage inside my big check-in Hush puppy one.

#2: Taipei 101

Gorgeous views from the top of that building. Hopefully there might be some fireworks too! *crosses fingers*

#3: Hot Springs in Beitou

I've been wanting to visit a spa/hot spring overseas (besides Batam -.-), & now I have a perfect chance! Can't wait to dip myself in!

#4: 六福村 Leofoo Village Theme Park

It's a theme park! (: I haven't been to many theme parks (Disneyland HK, Disneyland Paris, Genting highlands & Universal Studios Singapore on Tuesday!), so I hope to add to the experience!

#5: Taipei Zoo

China sent 2 pandas Tuan tuan & Yuan Yuan there in 2008 as some sort of a peace-thingy. I want to see them! :D & show them my Kungfu panda eyes too. Hahaha.

#6: 士林夜市, Shilin Night Market

I'm a food-fanatic! I REALLY DON'T NEED TO SAY MORE! *drools* heeheeee.

#7: Miramar Entertainment Complex

It has this really pretty & huge ferris wheel! Furthermore, it combines shopping too! (: I remember Fahrenheit's "孤单摩天轮" MV was shot there, & I love that song!

#8: National Taiwan University

No specific reason, I just want to feel clever. HAHAHAH! Or would I get mistaken as a student there. :x

#9: 西门町, Ximending

It means to the Taiwanese like how "Orchard Road" is to us Singaporeans! But I heard that shopping is quite expensive though, so I'm not pinnin my shopping-maniac-ness there.

#10: National Palace Museum

I'm sure we can learn alot about history there. (:

There you have it! This post sums up my plans for Taipei!
I'm superrrrrrrr excited!
I'm flying off on 30Aug in the middle of the night and coming back on 3Sept midnight!

Are you excited yet, Jo & KL?!
